Mike Hancock, Vice President of Business Development
Mike Hancock brings twenty years of experience in high-tech sales and marketing, in large corporate environments and start-ups. Most recently as a partner with sales and marketing consulting firm ViaMetric, he leveraged his years of operating experience to develop the firm's core capability to operationalize a client's revenue targets by prescribing a combination of services that delivered a larger volume of highly qualified opportunities to significantly increase their revenue.
He has held successful positions as vice president of sales at companies such as Cesura, Hire.com, and Mentor Graphics. While at Cesura, Hancock was responsible for generating profitable growth of the company's Business Certainty Managed Service through successful execution of direct, inside, channel and partner sales strategies worldwide. Organizations targeted were on demand Software as a Service (SaaS) companies, financial services, healthcare, and retail companies. At Mentor Graphics he headed direct and channel sales targeted at the semiconductor, consumer electronics, computer, and aerospace industries. At Hire.com, Hancock drove overall revenue growth from $400,000 in 1998 to $2.8 million in 1999 and $7.3 million in 2000. Hancock was a member of the President's Club for twelve consecutive years at Synopsys and Cadnetix. He received an appointment to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, and earned his BS in civil engineering from the University of Texas.
